I think when it comes to sleep apnea it helps to understand that there are three types of apnea; central SA, obtrusive sleep apnea and a mixture of the two.
Central Sleep apnea is caused by a problem with the respiratory responses from your brain, which causes the sufferer which basically causes the sufferer to forget to breath.
Obtrusive Sleep Apnea is more to do with physical and/or dietary issues and is easier to eliminate. You’ve listed some good tips and the CPAP machines are great.
When it comes to OSA there’s also some great stop snoring products out there that could really help those who may not feel their apnea/snoring is not worth going to the doctors about.
